It could last most of the day and you could create wonderful memories. For those who dont have a pool and cant afford one it doesnt matter, there are plenty of other things a family can do in the backyard.

You can engage in all sorts of water games. If you buy some water guns or a water sprinkler or make some water balloons everybody would enjoy themselves and it would be a chance to cool off a little. These items can be brought anywhere, at a retail store or online and they dont cost too much.

If your family is more interested in sports you can set up a basket ball or a volley ball hoop in your backyard. It may cost more than you are thinking of spending but it will last for a long time and you will get a lot of use out of it. If you cant afford that, think about games such as soft ball or kickball which are less expensive.

Backyard camping is a great way to end your day with the family. People of all ages will enjoy it, especially families with small children. You are not so far away from home if there is any emergency, it doesnt cost as much, it is an unforgettable experience. You can buy a tent and other equipment for an affordable price if you dont have one already.
